THE STAFF

AISHA SABRY

At the young age of eight Aisha was introduced to the field of child

development by a great aunt who started her own respected preschool

and primary learning center.  Her desire to work with children emerged

when she helped her aunt take care of young foster children.  It was then

that she discovered her passion for children and the field of early child development.

Aisha has worked in early education for over 16 years and possesses a

Bachelor of Arts in Child Development from California State University, Chico.

While studying at Chico State she obtained extensive experience and training through several internships and practicum classes.

Upon graduation she worked as a teacher, famiy advocate and

and director of numerous elementary schools, private preschools,

Head Starts, and Montessori programs throughout the East Bay

and Houston, Texas.

In 2003 Aisha followed her entrepreneurial spirit and opened her

learning center.  Although A Plus Learning Academy Inc. was a

fulfilling endeavor and very successful, she decided to close in

2008 to spend more time with her beautiful baby daughter.

In her spare time Aisha enjoys making organic skin and hair care products,

hiking, camping and gardening.  She also has a great love for  creating

jewelry, sewing and healthy living.
